Abstract: To the extent that the current situation may again lead to a difficult recessionary period for Nevada there may be some similarities to the Great Recession we have recently emerged from. Accordingly this report looks back to the beginning of the Great Recession in Nevada and at what happened in the following years with a focus on housing and housing for low income households in order to gauge what Nevada could be facing in the coming months and years.
