Abstract: This bachelor's thesis is about racial discrimination in the labor market in the United States. The first section provides theoretical findings about pay gaps and discriminatory theories. It also explains the gap and its decomposition. The second part is devoted to works that explore racial discrimination. In the third part there are created econometrics models that examine the wage gap. Subsequently is made decomposition of this gap. The last part is devoted to the results of the real pay gap and the distribution of labor in the labor market in the United States and the United States against discrimination.
