Abstract: The U.S. Census Bureau has divided Wisconsin into 31 Wisconsin Public Use Microdata Areas (PUMAs), with boundaries set to follow county boundaries and ensure at least 100,000 residents in each unit. For our imputations and poverty results, we have grouped these 31 PUMAs into 22 areas, consisting of the 10 largest counties in Wisconsin and the remaining 12 PUMAs that group between 2 and 10 counties into one area (see Table A 1).
