Abstract: This article focuses on the link between women’s work and international economic dynamics, starting from international migration. The aim is to show that the employment of migrant women has an important role in the social and economic situation in the destination countries. In the same way, the background of the demand for Latin American women workers in the United States is examined, because it operates as a catalyst for the migration of these women. Finally we walk down the slope of empirical research, in order to deepen the process of employment of these women in the US labour market since the 1990s to this ongoing century. So this work presents an analysis of statistical data which shows how this phenomenon occurs.
