Abstract: Education is Special Students who are supposed to be “gifted” get first-rate classrooms with bright motivational and educational posters on the walls, live examples to supplement instruction, current textbooks with colorful illustrations, and teachers with advanced degrees. Students who are supposed to be “learning challenged” get dilapidated classrooms, no stimulation beyond basic instruction and behavior management, and dated worksheets instead of textbooks.
