Abstract: The Charles County Economic Development Department (“the Client”) sought a study to understand the workforce of Charles County, focusing on how the county’s population contributes to the workforce in the surrounding areas and how this workforce aligns with the county’s target industries. More specifically, the Client was interested in how Charles County’s skilled workforce could be an asset in attracting these industries to the area.
