Abstract: Electric vehicles will become increasingly prevalent over the next few decades to accelerate decarbonization of the transportation sector. This thesis uses a spatial lens to explore the intersection of transportation, decarbonization, and energy justice to deepen our understanding of the potentially uneven impacts of the electric vehicle transition in the United States. This work will be submitted to a journal under the same title for publication.
