Abstract: We generate ideal points based on 38 inferred policy positions from 22 questions on the 2010 Cooperative Congressional Election Survey (CCES). The CCES common content includes questions about a wide range of policy domains that provide a reliable baseline for estimating a scaled measure of ideology.
