Title: The Effect of Social Connectedness on Crime: Evidence from the Great Migration

Citation Type: Miscellaneous

Publication Year: 2019

Abstract: In this appendix, we use a simple economic model to derive an empirical measure of social connectedness, and we show how the overall effect of social connectedness on crime depends on peer effects and related spillovers. This complements the more intuitive discussion in Section 3.
