Abstract: The Soap Opera is a typical Latin American product, and is present markedly in the Hispanic culture in the United States. The ratings success of soap operas in Hispanics channels in the United States also reflects the atraction of television advertising investments in these products, and some ad actions are occurring in ways never before experienced. In this context, this research aims to reflect on the new possibilities of promotion and consumption with the plots of soap operas in Latin America, through primarily of direct and indirect sources of documentation.
