Abstract: This report analyzes changes among the top five Latino national groups between 1990-2005 in the South Bronx neighborhoods of Mott Haven, Port Morris, Melrose, Longwood, and Hunts Point. It provides a profile of demographic and socioeconomic characteristics including population distribution, age, sex, homeownership, income, educational attainment, and employment. These characteristics are compared, whenever appropriate, with those of the other major racial/ethnic components of the population - non-Hispanic Whites, non-Hispanic Blacks, and Asians.
