Abstract: Introduction to U.S. Census Data Participants will be introduced to the various U.S. Bureau of Census surveys and how to access the available demographic data from the surveys using the data platform, census.data.gov. Additionally, participants will learn how to use the library GIS tool, Social Explorer, for demographic mapping and IPUMS to retrieve public use microsample data samples.
