Abstract: Our research seeks to understand the challenges with public transportation accessibility for people with disabilities (PWD) in the metropolitan area of Minneapolis, Minnesota. We show both the necessity of access to transportation and the lack of equity that currently exists with a focus on better understanding the issue in the Twin Cities, Minnesota through the global perspectives of the United States, China, and France.
