Title: Probability of Adequate Antenatal Care in Zambia by Population Density

Citation Type: Miscellaneous

Publication Year: 2018

Abstract: Access to adequate antenatal care (at least four antenatal visits, beginning in first four months of pregnancy) in Zambia in 2013 varied according to population density. We expect greater access to antenatal care in urban areas than in rural areas; surprisingly, women in dense urban areas (urban slums) were least likely to receive adequate antenatal care.
