Abstract: Migration data in Africa are very rare and mostly from fragmented sources. This is the unique opportunity provided by the ACAP-IPUMS project in providing African censuses from two waves of data sets. This analysis is focused on regional and interregional migration issues in Africa and its interlinkages with other demographic characteristics from censuses.
