Title: Immigrant-native wage gaps in time series: Complementaries or composition effects?

Abstract: Previous research has shown that immigrants wages decrease when the supply of immigrants increases. This negative correlation has been interpreted as evidence of immigrantnative complementarities in production. The present study finds that it is instead due to changing immigrant composition.
